Events Policy

The National Links Trust (NLT) offers a variety of events through shopnlt.com. This policy only applies to events offered through shopnlt.com and does not apply to events offered through playgolfDC.com.

Golf Events
Golf events typically have a fixed capacity and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Certain events may be offered to NLT Capital Club members exclusively or for pre- registration.

For these events, registrants may request a full refund up to 72 hours prior to the event’s scheduled start. Refunds will not be provided within 72 hours of the event’s scheduled start, however registrants may transfer their registrations to other individuals up to 12 hours before the event’s scheduled start. Alternatively, registrants may opt to apply their registration to a current year Capital Club membership either as a new member or to upgrade an existing membership.

In case of inclement weather, NLT will make an effort to provide sufficient, advance notice of a cancellation or postponement. NLT will make an effort to consult with golf course staff to make an appropriate determination. In case of a postponement, NLT will make an effort to reschedule the event. Previous registrations carry over to rescheduled events, however registrants may request a refund if they are unable to participate in the rescheduled event.

NLT will provide full refunds in case of a canceled event that can not be rescheduled.
Golf events that begin at the scheduled time may be delayed or not completed due to inclement weather. Events that begin will not be refunded regardless of completion status.

to shop@nationallinkstrust.com. NLT Capital Club members receive waitlist priority.

Non-Golf Events
NLT does not provide refunds for Friday or Sunday on the Greens registrations. In case of inclement weather, NLT will effort to reschedule the event. All previous registrations carry over to rescheduled events. If a scheduled Friday or Sunday on the Green event is canceled due to inclement weather, and cannot be rescheduled, registrations will apply to the next Friday or Sunday on the Green event.
