Custom NLT Langston scorecard.
This letterpress scorecard is part of a limited edition run of 1,000 made by Stymie Scorecards. The yardages and pars are accurate with the tees named for the Royal Golf Club and Wake Robin Golf Club, the oldest men's and women's Black golf clubs in existence, who count Langston as their home course. Each hole has been named after prominent African American golfers from John Shippen, who played in the first US Open to Althea Gibson, the first Black Golfer in the LPGA, to Tiger Woods. The hope is that by naming the holes, golfers will be encouraged to research the names that they are not familiar with and thus have a greater understanding of the story of Black golf in America.
All proceeds will go to helping NLT promote and protect affordability, accessibility, and engaging golf course architecture at municipal courses throughout the United States of America.
